Lost Ark: How to Find Every Song
Lost Ark's songs often offer incredible benefits, but they can be tricky to locate. Here's a rundown of what every song in the game does and where to find them.
Lost Ark includes tried-and-true ARPG mechanics like class abilities and loot but plays with the genre formula through the use of creative MMO-style concepts like a collection of songs that allow you to perform a variety of unique spells and actions.
Throughout Lost Ark, players can collect a library of melodies that essentially act like extra skills. Some teleport characters to set locations, while others may open hidden passages. It’s a musical mechanic similar to the one seen in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (or, more accurately, Majora’s Mask since each class sports its own instrument).
Many songs are earned naturally by progressing through the game’s story, but others require a bit more work. So if you seem to be missing that one special tune, here’s where you can find every song in Lost Ark that we know about so far.
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Song of Escape
The Song of Escape is arguably the most useful song in Lost Ark since, as its name suggests, it lets players escape any instanced area whenever they like. This is extremely useful for players who want to quickly exit a dungeon after finishing it or need to escape after learning they aren’t properly equipped for the challenge.
This song is one of the first players will learn in the game. All they have to do is progress through the main story quest and finish “Legends and Fairytales.”
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Song of Trixion
The Song of Trixion has only one purpose: teleporting players to Trixion. Since the location and its sole NPC, Beatrice, are integral to the story, though, gamers need to visit Trixion sooner or later. Given its importance, it makes sense that the song is obtained through a main story mission.
After players complete the quest “The Wingless,” they will receive the multi-step mission “To the Edge of the World.” This quest ends by tasking players with learning the Song of Trixion, after which they can use it to teleport to Trixion whenever they wish.
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Song of Return
Most MMOs offer a painless teleporting system to help players get around the world. The most famous example is World of Warcraft’s Hearthstone, which lets gamers bind to an inn and teleport back whenever they wish. Lost Ark’s Song of Return essentially fills the same role. Instead of teleporting to inns, though, the Song of Return lets players warp to any Portal Statue in any capital city they want (so long as they set it as a return point first).
During the main story quest “Song of Return,” players have to talk to the bard Shannon and set the nearby portal statue as their designated return location. After that, Shannon teaches them the Song of Return as a reward
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Song of Hearth and Home
Strongholds are a worthwhile investment in Lost Ark since they let players customize their own homestead and craft some seriously powerful items. Players don’t have to use them, but anyone who does also gets a free song that lets them teleport home at their convenience.
In order to obtain this song, known as the Song of Hearth and Home, you need to complete a few small quests. First, you’ll need to receive (and complete) the quest “Clerk Theo’s Invitation,” which is given after reclaiming Luterra Castle during the main quest chain. Talk to the Royal Receptionist outside the castle, and a cutscene will play. Afterward, talk to the Royal Receptionist again, and she will hand out the quest “Song of Hearth and Home.” This mission automatically rewards you with this valuable song.
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Song of Valor
While some songs in Lost Ark let players teleport to locations, the majority are used for rapport (essentially the game’s reputation system). As players interact with and give certain important NPCs gifts, they will eventually be granted various items. Many of Lost Ark‘s songs are used to establish rapport with NPCs, and the Song of Valor is the first such song players will learn.
During the main quest chain, players will receive the mission “Song of Valor.” The quest is fairly straightforward, as gamers have to simply talk to Captain Mak (who directs them to Maller). Once players retrieve some Silver Bush Leaves and talk to Maller again, a cutscene will play. When players talk to Maller one final time, he hands over an item that teaches them the Song of Valor.
Lost Ark: Where to Find Heart’s Melody
From here on out all, virtually songs are used to increase rapport with certain NPCs. This includes the song Heart’s Melody.
Heart’s Melody is a reward for the quest “Time for Treatment,” which starts as a simple fetch quest for healing herbs. By the end of the mission, though, players examine mysterious tablets and magically teach them Heart’s Melody.
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Song of Temptation
The Song of Temptation is yet another melody that increases rapport with some NPCs.
Unlike previous songs, which were all quest rewards, players have to grind for this the Song of Temptation. In order to obtain this melody, players need to fill out 50% of the Adventurer’s Tome in the continent of Yudia. Activities that contribute to the completion include examining vistas, unlocking fast travel points, and completing dungeons. Once a player reaches 50%, they just have to visit the Yudia section of the tome and click on the reward, which automatically teaches them the song.
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Song of Starlight
The Song of Starlight is only used to increase rapport with some NPCs.
Most songs in Lost Ark are quest rewards or automatically gifted to players for meeting certain milestones. However, the Song of Starlight is sold by the NPC Favreau on Starlight Isle. Players need to hand over 3,300 Gienah’s Coins (which are primarily acquired through co-op quests).
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Serenade of Love
The Serenade of Love is only used to increase rapport with some NPCs.
This song is a reward for the quest “Relationship Guru,” which starts on the island of Liebeheim. This mission involves talking to some NPC and sending love letters. After this simple quest, players receive the Serenade of Love.
Lost Ark: Where to Find Heavenly Harmony
Heavenly Harmony is only used to increase rapport with some NPCs.
Usually, songs are guaranteed rewards, but not so with Heavenly Harmony. This particular melody is randomly dropped from the co-op mission for Harmony Island, so anyone who doesn’t get it in their first chest should try again. As if that wasn’t annoying enough, it turns out that the Serenade of Love is a prerequisite to participate in that mission.
Lost Ark: Where to Find Elegy of Serenity
The Elegy of Serenity is only used to increase rapport with some NPCs.
This song isn’t a reward for a main mission but instead a prize for completing a lengthy quest chain that begins with the “Iceberg Inquiry.” After players complete the penultimate quest, “Justice Achieved,” they will receive the mission “Elegy of Serenity,” which involves creating a celebratory recital. After completing the quest, players are rewarded with the song Elegy of Serenity (along with a bunch of other prizes).
Lost Ark: Where to Find Song of Resonance
Song of Resonance provides two core functions: it can increase rapport with certain NPCs and it can open hidden passageways marked by special statues.
Like the Song of Starlight, the path to the Song of Resonance is long and arduous. In order to obtain this melody, players need to pay Treasure Hunter Igran, who lives on Peyto, a whopping 16,500 Pirate Coins. Those digital doubloons are earned through special Island Quests scattered throughout the world, so players who want the song should plan on grinding for them.
Lost Ark: Where to Find Forest’s Minuet
Forest’s Minuet is Lost Ark’s second song that plays double duty as a rapport boost and revealer of secrets. Instead of moving statues, though, this song clears passages blocked by thorny vines.
To obtain Forest’s Minuet, players need to visit Lullaby Island and accept the quest “The Forest Where Fairies Sing” from Traveler Eclipse. This starts a quest chain and leads them to Hiding Fairy, who players will need to interact with several times and pick the correct responses. The proper interactions are as follows:
- The Forests Where Fairies Sing: (Whistle.), (Wait.), (Whistle again.).
- I Can Hear You: (Put down the shiny pebble.), “Remember me?”, “It’s a gift.”, (Wait quietly.).
- It’s Ok, Miss Fairy: (Just watch.), (Listen with your back to her.), “I’m Listening.”, “I’ll Look for one.”, “Sure.”, “No worries. I’m an adventurer.”
Once those steps are completed, players need to perform the co-op mission “Magick Melody” three times. This should give gamers enough Voice of the Forests to finish the quest “It’s Ok, Miss Fairy,” which provides plenty of rewards, including Forest’s Minuet.
On a side note, players need the Song of Resonance before they can obtain Forest’s Minuet
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Song of Eternity
The Song of Eternity is only used to increase rapport with some NPCs.
Like Heavenly Harmony, players need to progress through their Adventurer’s Tome to obtain the Song of Eternity. This time, though, they need to achieve 60% completion in Rohendel.
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Song of Reminiscence
The Song of Reminiscence is only used to increase rapport with some NPCs.
This song is yet another reward for a quest chain. Players who want the Song of Reminiscence need to start with “Strange Mail” in Rothun and also have the condition Twilight on the Horizon. This chain culminates in the mission “Lost Footsteps,” which is found in the Frozen Sea. Players need to talk with various NPCs and choose the correct emotions when talking to one character, Allegro. After all of that is said and done, players will receive several rewards, including the Song of Reminiscence
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Song of Spring
The Song of Spring is only used to increase rapport with some NPCs.
This melody can be particularly tricky to obtain since players first need to find Shangra Island (which can pop up randomly on the overworld sea). Once players reach the island, the path is fairly straightforward. All players need to do is complete the island’s questline, starting with “The Garden Path.” The second part of the chain, “Shangra’s Pure Energy,” gives players the Song of Spring once completed.
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Requiem of Twilight
The Requiem of Twilight is only used to increase rapport with some NPCs.
In order to receive the Requiem of Twilight, players need to visit the Island of Eternal Rest and talk to Derisa. She will give you the quest “She Only Dreams of Peace,” which consists of collecting lilies and placing them on some graves. After these simple tasks, Derisa hands out a bit of cash and the Requiem of Twilight.
Lost Ark: Where to Find Romantic Weapon
Romantic Weapon is only used to increase rapport with some NPCs.
Another song locked to the Adventurer’s Tome, players need to fill out 60% completion in Yorn.
Lost Ark: Where to Find Soulful Requiem
Soulful Requiem is only used to increase rapport with some NPCs.
Another song locked to the Adventurer’s Tome, players need to fill out 60% completion in Feiton.
Lost Ark: Where to Find the Song of Harmony
The Song of Harmony is only used to increase rapport with some NPCs.
Not to be confused with Heavenly Harmony, the Song of Harmony is unlocked by filling out 50% of the Adventurer’s Tome in Punika.
Since Lost Ark is a live service title, expect this list to grow as we either discover more songs or more are added to the game.
