Link Tank: Stranger Things 4 is the Show’s Penultimate Season
Updates on Stranger Things 4, John Williams has returned to Star Wars, Fargo season 5 is on the way, and more on Link Tank!
After nearly three years, we finally have a confirmed release date for Stranger Things 4! We also learned it’s not only the first part of two installments for this upcoming season but also the penultimate run for the sci-fi series.
“Occasionally, there are shows that stick in the audience’s collective mind. No matter how long it takes between seasons or how off-the-rails the story gets, there are certain shows that just keep delivering. The Duffer Brothers’ Netflix series Stranger Things is one of those shows. But after two years, there was no sign of when we’d see the Hopkins gang again. Until today when the Duffer Bros. announced the rest of the series plans’ — including two different Season 4 release dates. Here’s everything we know about Stranger Things to come, and what it could mean for the show’s story.”
James Gunn just pulled off the impossible with an incredible set of cameos in the Peacemaker finale.
“HBO’s Peacemaker just wrapped its season one finale, and it had a lot of big moments in it, but the absolute jaw-dropper came towards the end, with the Suicide Squad spinoff’s huge DC movie tie-in cameo.”
It turns out John Williams isn’t retired and isn’t done with Star Wars after all as the legendary composer is returning to write the theme for the upcoming series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
“John Williams has been the common staple of Star Wars due to his legendary contributions as the franchise’s composer. Many would agree that Williams’ iconic compositions, such as ‘The Force,’ have left an everlasting impact on fans while also giving a sense of nostalgia when they play during a scene. However, as the Skywalker Saga closed its big-screen chapter, it also marked the end of Williams’ tenure as its composer.”
The good news? Noah Hawley is doing another season of Fargo. The bad news? It probably means his Alien show isn’t happening anytime soon.
“Ever since news broke that Legion and Fargo showrunner Noah Hawley was making a TV show set in the Alien universe, we’ve been desperate to learn more. When’s it set, where’s it set, who’s in it, and can we have it in our eyeballs right now thank you very much? Several of those details have been revealed in the subsequent months and now there are even more, including one that’s a tad less than encouraging.”
If you’re about to commit large portions of your day to Horizon Forbidden West, here are some essential details to know before starting the game.
“Horizon Forbidden West came out this weekend, re-introducing gaming audiences to the huntress Aloy, the big and beautiful world that only she’s apparently competent enough to save, and a whole bunch of big metal dinosaurs and tigers for her to take apart to craft shiny things from in order to do so. You can read my formal review of the game here—it’s largely positive, although I’d never describe Forbidden West as a flawless game. But I wanted to pop into this space today to outline a few things I wish I’d known before I started playing this bold, expansive, epic sci-fi sequel.”
Have you been losing the quality of sleep? That’s where the SERENITY – Bluetooth Sleep Eye Mask Headphones come into play.
If you’re like me, you spend a lot of your day glued to a screen. While we love our constant flow of content, our eyes can use a break sometimes, but your ears can keep listening. Serenity has introduced some Bluetooth headphones perfect for this occasion while helping to maximize your level of sleep. For me, white noise of tranquil music helps the most in these situations, but you can tailor the product to whatever you want to listen to.
