24 Exile: the trailer!

Jack Bauer is back in a two-hour TV movie. And we've got the trailer to prove it...

Okay. Is it wrong that we get so excited about the new 24 television film when the last series let us down so badly? If so, consider our card marked, as this two hour trailer - replete with Jack Bauer looking angry, Robert Carlyle looking desperate and 24 looking somewhere near back to its most interesting - has got us intrigued again.

In the trailer, we see the swearing in of America's first female President (and, to be fair, Hillary looked like she had a chance when they wrote the script), combined with talk of a coup in Africa. The TV film, which is set between series six and seven (the latter of which kicks off in January) will be shown in November, and surely the two hour format will force the show into a convincing, rounded three act story. Don't bet against a cliffhanger to get us in the mood for the next series, though.

Oh, and what happened to regular voiceover guy? Surely this is just the kind of trailer that's calling out for gravel-voice man, rather than the bloke they dragged out of the office to tackle the voiceover here.

Anyway, enough from us: here's the trailer to 24: Exile
