The Harrison Ford ready reckoner

Simon Brew

In recent years, Mr Ford has infamously turned down some juicy roles - Traffic, anyone? Sadly, the ones he's chosen are..., well, check this lot out...

The moral of this latest in our series of famed movie types by star ratings is very clear: Give. This. Man. A. Good. Script.

So is anyone at all looking forward to the new Indiana Jones film, or is he just past it?

He's past it. But I'm still looking forward to the film...

The music and cinematography alone in Blade Runner is worth 3 stars, and that's being stingy. Personally I wish they had gone with Donald Sutherland, or Dustin Hoffman, who was attached to the film for 6 months. Ford is pure wood, and chose his hobby (carpentry)well.

There'd better be a time and a place for the Blade Runner fight, as I'm getting prepared.

The new Indy will be great - but Mr Ford is knocking on a bit. You can see it now instead of wearning a fedora he will exchange it for a flat cap, and then drive really really slowly, eat Worthers and have to go to the loo a lot. A nice comfy jumper will replace the jacket and there will be lots of complaints of everything being 'too cold and noisey'. - But joking aside Indy can do no wrong, as long as they stave off with the CGI it will be great
