I dont see how this movie had so much dealings with the romulans, If it is set in a pre TOS, The Romulans were first seen in the "Balance of Power" so how can we see them now, Yet another continunity error. And if this is kirk in a pre TOS how can he be on the Enterprise he should be serving on the USS Faragut under Garrovick, Another error. And the shot of the bridge looks far far to advanced to be a Pre-TOS bridge, looks like somthing from the 25th century.

Wow. Sodhexo, you just had a geek moment to be proud of. Seriously, though... Abrams pretty much declared the movie a friggin' reboot and has said he wanted to make Star Trek more Star Wars! He's not concerned with continuity, or about the shows history and canon in any friggin' way. All though I'm sure this movie will make big box office, it will most likely be a disaster and a slap in the face for Star Trek fans everywhere.

Shut up Sodhexo. If it wasn't for Abrams, Star trek would have disappeared up its own arse for good. What did we have... the complete soap opera twaddle that was Deep Space Nine, the utter shit that was Voyager; with one of the most endearing characters trek has ever seen, Janeaway; and then to top it of, the utterly brilliant Enterprise, helmed by Sam Beckett. Even on paper, you couldn't have believed some stupid dick would have pushed these 3 series, through, but some coked up mofo did. Any I shall finish of by saying how can you judge the film, when you haven't even seen it ? You remind me of the naysayers, who were dissing Daniel Craig as Bond. This time next year, you'll be wearing the new uniforms, and w*nking of over the new Uhuru.

I didnet post here with the intention of annoying people it is just my opinion and the opinion of others as well, If you two are fans of star trek how can the comment that TWAT Abrams made not offend you a star trek movie not for star trek fans that in itself is a contradiction. And just because you TheRahman dont have a low opinion of DS9 and Voyager and hate dosent mean we all do, I for one dident mind either of them, Infact if a Voyager movie had been made that would be much more appropiate. This new movie is doomed for faliure "MARK MY WORDS" Abrams as Darth_Maiku has stated has no concern for canon, continunity or history of star trek, he is tring to re-boot star trek like bsg. Star trek has been going strong for 40 years, and then BIGGEST fuck up and faliures in star trek history known as "enterprise" came along which was a prequel and low and behold its cancelled. So lets not learn from our mistakes and make a prequel movie, this new movie has no respect at all for the fans. And i for one reguarding Daniel Caig have no problem with him at all. anf this time next year we will be talking about how much of a colossal and monumental fuck up this movie was and how it might possibily condem star trek to the past forever. And i am judgeing the movie by all the available info which is more than enough to know what will happen.Abrams has doomed star treks future we will be lucky if another movie is made after this one.
