Corey Haim on Lost Boys 2: “I didn’t like it”

Corey Haim says what many fans of The Lost Boys were thinking. Only thing is: wasn't he, er, in Lost Boys 2?

An interesting story has popped up over at Bloody Disgusting, where they collared actor Corey Haim on the way into Eyegore Awards. And he’s not been particularly complementary about the direct-to-DVD Lost Boys sequel that turned up earlier this year.

“I don’t like it, to be honest with you”, he told the site when questioned. "I don’t like it, I'm not gonna lie to you. I don’t like it as much as the first one".

He went on to say “We went from Lost Boys 1 to, let's say just like a neutralized, keep it hot and fresh Lost Boys 2”. However, he’s more posstive about the planned Lost Boys 3, which is set to be a prequel, far more in keeping with the style of the original film. “As far as I heard, it will be thrown back into the proper genre it was when Joel executed it.” (the Joel being Joel Schumacher).
