Is Ridley Scott's creative alter-ego unwilling to fight himself in the forthcoming Nottingham...?
An substantiated comment at a Russell Crowe website has the Australian actor refuting collaborator Ridley Scott's anouncement that he would be cast as both Robin Hood and the sheriff of Nottingham in the pending Scott production Nottingham.
In the comments section to a post about the announcement, 'RC' says…
I won't be playing two roles in Nottingham. If I ever were to do that I'd pick roles that were more diverse, say Tuck and Marion.
It can't be verified, of course, but it's certainly short and pithy enough to fit the Crowe profile…
