A friend of mine recently bought a Game Boy Micro to work. To be honest I had never really seen one before, jumping straight to a DS as far as handheld consoles were concerned. However, after spending lunchtime playing Mario Kart I was hooked on this nifty, often overlooked console and set forth to find out what was available and how much these consoles and a game can be picked up for. And yes, I know the DS is backwards compatible...12/05/08

I never really got into the Micro, possibly because I'm far too preoccupied with my SP. I bought a DS and was disappointed with a lack of decent titles; the GBA on the other hand has a plethora of games available. Unfortunately I find the Micro's screen to be a bit on the mousey side. Still, has to be said it is very cuuuute ^.^

I've still got my Gameboy Advance SP (will probably never get rid - it's a special one in Famicom colours), and it's a cracking bit of kit. I've had and traded various games over the last few years, but the ones I've always kept have been Mario Kart, Wario Ware, Super Mario World and Harvest Moon. Picked up Street Fighter Alpha 3 and DOOM recently for a bit of variety, and I keep meaning to try out Advance Wars and one of the Final Fantasies. But yeah, it's a great console with some excellent games out there (a LOT of classic SNES stuff was adapted), for a fraction of the cost of a DS. Although I do prefer the SP to the Micro, I just think it's a nicer bit of kit...
