Tomb Raider returns in November
Simon Brew
Lara Croft swings back towards Playstation, PC, Xbox and Nintendo in time for Christmas...
The ninth game in the ongoing adventures of Lara Croft will definitely be out before Christmas, according to its publisher, Eidos. Entitled Tomb Raider: Underworld, it’s also going to be appearing on an array of formats, covering PC, PS2, PS3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and Xbox 360.The game is once again being developed by Crystal Dynamics, who took over programming duties from creators Core Design after the disastrous Tomb Raider: The Angel Of Darkness. Crystal Dynamics have done Lara’s last two outings, Tomb Raider: Legend and Tomb Raider: Anniversary, and this time it’s all about the mythical hammer of Norse God Thor. Sounds fun.
And the big date? 21st November 2008. Eidos seems very confident about this, too. Expect more news on the game soon...
